Lazy!

It has been reported that I am lazy.  Not in general, but as a blogger.  I can't promise to change that.  I'd like to, but then I'd be a lazy liar.

It has also been reported that I don't look like my picture anymore.  (Remember, I'm a lazy blogger...) This is true.  I now have long hair.  The proper term would be ponytail hair.  Ever since I decided to be a runner/triathlete, I have been growing my hair out.  Because for me, there is no inbetween.  Either I don't have to fuss with it at all for a race, ala my friend MaryAnne who looks like a sexy rockstar with her super short, ultra blond hair, or it is long and can be whipped back in a ponytail with NO BOBBY PINS!!!  That last part is very important.  (This also relates to being lazy)

Since I have no noticeable resemblance in any way to a rockstar, I have chosen long.  MaryAnne also does my hair and has kept it in shape while it grows.  I am pleased to announce that I finally have PONYTAIL HAIR!!!!  YAY!  No bobby pins or headband necessary to keep it back.

Hallelujah!  Finally, I can sweat like crazy and my hair won't be plastered to my scalp in odd, unattractive ways.  It will still need to be colored, but without the wisps hanging in my eyes.

Admitedly this is a horrible picture, but since we don't take many, it was the only one I could find that showed how long the hair is getting.  (This was my oldest son's Eagle Court of Honor last November, yes we are SUPER PROUD, although we look more like we're bored at a funeral.)

Now, I can wear a cycling helmet and not worry that it will be standing on end when I pull my helmet off.  I can ride the motorcycle with Mark and still enter a restaurant without ducking into the bathroom first!  Ahhh, the freedom of not having to fix my hair perfectly everytime!  Roundbrush, blowdryer and the occasional flat iron are all I need!

Till I get bored.
